Credentials

Credentials

The Credentialing System documents completion of specific early childhood coursework. SC Endeavors awards three levels of credentials as a way to promote career development for those who educate and care for children in our state. Individuals may enroll at their local SC technical/community college to take the coursework. Your earned credential certificate can be downloaded within your registry account.

All courses must have been taken since 2001 at one of the sixteen technical/community colleges in South Carolina to earn any Early Childhood credential. After completion of the course/courses required for the desired credential, the individual can apply by uploading their education documentation within the SC Endeavors registry professional profile and applying through the left-side navigation credential and smart money bonus application.

T.E.A.C.H. Scholarships may be available for individuals currently working in childcare.
